Back Again

Greetings, cyberspace. My, time does fly by, doesn't it? But alas, here I am ready to give you the scoop on what's happening.

Last night I was watching Identity, the abc gameshow where the contestant is given 12 "strangers" on the stage and 12 identities and they have to match them up successfully to win up the $500,000. It's pretty cool to watch, especially when one of those strangers is obviously one you know but they don't. The 1st contestant screwed up and went home with nothing while the second one settled for $75,000 which isn't bad at all. Last week this lady actually guessed all of them and won the ultimate prize. One of the ways the contestant is helped is that they have a panel of 3 experts--a private investigator, a body language expert and a psychologist or i guess it's different every week or so but they try to help by giving their opinion. It was cool to watch. There's really not that much stuff to watch since almost everything else is either American Idol or reruns because they are afraid to go up against AI. BUT at least House will be back next week, finally, now that AI is down to ten. Sometimes I watch it when there's nothing else just to see how far Sanjaya will go. I smell a conspiracy here by the powers that be so people will tune in. I guess it's working. I did watch a new episode of Bones and it wasn't half bad. I have to remember next time I go book shopping to check out some of Kathy Reich's books. You know, the ones that are the basis for the show. Looks promising. Oh, and Dresden Files was a new episode too. That was cool. Sci Fi rocks. Which reminds me that Smallville and Supernatural were also new episodes this week. Go geeks!!!

As far as movies are concerned: last weekend we saw 300. Yeah, you know, the one about the Spartans. It started out slow but by the end of the movie I was, like, this rocks!! Money well spent, believe me. A little loud sometimes but that's the risk you take. We'll just have to see what movie we can watch this weekend.

Right now I'm reading Imitation In Death by JD Robbs-otherwise known as Nora Roberts. Now, ordinarily I wouldn't read her stuff but Denise @ work lent it to me because she thought I'd enjoy it. It's about a serial killer who is imitating other serial killers because he admires their work. So far it's been Jack the Ripper and Al De Salvo. I'm in the middle of it so I'll just have to update you on the ending later.

Work is going okay but it could be better. I really wish I could go into detail but something tells me it might come back to haunt me later so we'll just leave it at that. Didn't go in to work today since nobody else was going, why should I be the only one. NO WAY!!!!!!!

We just recuperated from a down pour last week. Wednesday saw the beginning of spring but it's kinda dreary outside. So much for spring. At least the greenery is coming back. Unfortunately that also means the trees and oak is right there with them. Since I'm allergic to that I had to prepare myself for the onslaught by getting on my medication on time. Seems like it worked but I still have some itchy eyes and a sneeze or two a day but it coulda been worse. Much worse. The first time i was unprepared was bad, let me tell you. Couldn't stop sneezing and couldn't sleep at time because i was short of breath. Sometimes it still happens but not at all like before.

Gotta go, the weekend is here and i have tons of stuff to do. Until later
