Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

Just at home enjoying a long weekend for the thanksgiving holiday. luckily we didn't go anywhere this time but i'm afraid we're gonna have to make an appearance with the family next month for christmas. not christmas day because i hate traveling during christmas but maybe a few days later. who knows.

thanksgiving was really uneventful here. we went out to watch Ninja Assassin then had some lunch. the movie was okay, what do you expect from a movie with that name. the beginning was a little over the top and gory, reminded me of the beginning of Ghost Ship, all that blood and dicing and chopping :) but i'm glad we stuck around. there wasn't much of a story but i guess the last half of the movie was good. the main character turns out the be the heroe, so it was good, especially since i used the last of my tickets from the RAD award.

the first ones i used to go watch 2012. that was a pretty good entertaining movie, like Twister, Independece Day, The Day after Tomorrow, Deep Impact, those kinds of movies. like the previous movie, not much of a storyline but it had cool effects and stuff. good for a time out.

been doing the FACEBOOK thing more often now because it's good to get in touch with people from your past. I just wish i could find more of them out there but unfortunately not everyone was joined the 21st century yet.

tony ambriz told me that today is Enoc's wedding day. he gave me his cell number but i tried calling him to no avail. can't say i didn't try.

had Thursday and friday off, so i had a four day weekend. needless to say, i'm getting plenty of rest. well deserved. plus, this week we're getting friday off again because we're getting some network updates and they're closing the office all day friday and maybe half a day on monday, keep your fingers crossed.

got the tickets to The Lion King next month. finally get to watch it, and the seats are pretty good ones, so....

Finally finished reading the Jonathan Kellerman book i was reading and managed to start Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. i barely started this week and i'm almost halfway done. his books are always such easy reads because there's so much action you can't put them down.

tv is going to such from now until january because they're on reruns now, but i've got some recorded stuff on dvr...about 30 episodes, so that'll keep me busy.
